Tom
Pittman - Lead Vocals, Saxophone
Tom is a self-taught musician and originally a
southern boy from Virginia Beach, Va. Playing professionally since
the age of 13, Tom was the featured saxophonist and one of the
lead vocalists for the MGM recording group, "The Rhondells".
The band sold over three million albums that included the hit
single, "May I" which reached number one in Boston and
number nine in the nation during the late 1960's.
During this time, Tom also organized horn bands that backed up
such acts as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Jr. Walker and the
All Stars and Marvin Gaye to name a few.
In 1976, after serving his country in the United
States Navy, Tom moved to Boston MA. and joined the popular showband,
"The Great Estate" which toured the United States as
well as performing at colleges through out New England.
In addition to performing on the road, Tom has performed
on and composed a wide variety of advertising and theme "jingles"
for Entertainment Tonight, Evening Magazine, Stop and Shop, The
Boston Globe and many others.
Linda Chase - Lead Vocals, Keyboards
After performing in highly acclaimed bands (such as "Image") on the New England progressive rock scene throughout the late '70s through '80s, her original band "3 Speed" (including other former members of "Image") was signed to MCA/Curb records in 1985.
With music partner Dave Currier she co-wrote, arranged, produced and performed many songs for major motion pictures, including the title song for Jim Carrey's first movie, "Once Bitten," for Samuel Goldwyn, Jr. This song was featured as a Billboard "Pick of the Week", and its video was prominently shown on MTV and all other music video stations in international markets.
Over the past several years, in addition to live performances, Linda has concentrated on studio production, programming, arranging and audio/visual computer skills, writing radio and TV musical images (jingles) for markets in 40 states, and songs for TV shows. She writes, arranges and produces for many aspiring artists (some in continued collaboration with Currier) and has most recently been in demand for her unique vocal coaching techniques which provide great results in achieving an artists very best performance in the studio.
Linda is a BMI affiliate, a member of AF of M (American Federation of Musicians) and of AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), is the recipient of a Freddy award for an educational film score, and is on the staff of highly-regarded Powerhouse Studio in Lunenburg, MA., www.powerhousestudio.com , where she is available to assist artists with their creative development on all levels.
